Loading your Dymo LabelWriter Labels

Follow these step-by-step instructions for loading your new labels into your Dymo® LabelWriter Printer:

Lift Dymo® LabelWriter cover
Remove used core by separating spool from locking ring (spool has core shaft while the locking ring is the piece without core shaft on right)
Hold the spool in your left hand and place the label roll on the core shaft so that the labels feed from underneath and the left edge of the label roll is flush
Place the locking ring onto the right side of the spool and press tightly against the side of the label roll, leaving no gap between the roll and the spool
Slide spool assembly into cradle on top cover
Align the left edge of the label with the left edge of the label feed slot and insert the label into the slot
The printer feeds the labels, stopping at the beginning of the first label. If the printer does not feed the labels, make sure the first label is fully inserted and then press the form-feed button
Close the cover

Printer Compatibility

DYMO Compatible Labels

Except as noted below, all DYMO compatible labels will work with the following printers:

LabelWriter: EL40, EL60, 300, 310, 315, 320, 330, 400, 400 Duo, 400 Twin Turbo, 450, SE450, 450 Duo, 450 Turbo, 450 Twin Turbo, 4XL

CoStar LabelWriter: XL, XL+, BC, BC+, TURBO, SE200, SE250, ACII 200 / ASCII 250

Exceptions:

Label: 99019 Compatible Printers: all the above printers except EL40, EL60, 300, 310, 315, 330

Label: 1744907 and 1785353 Compatible Printer: LabelWriter 4XL

None of HouseLabels' DYMO replacement rolls will work with the DYMO 550 or DYMO 5XL printers

Brother Compatible Labels

Except as noted below, all Brother compatible labels will work with the following Brother printers: Brother QL-1050, Brother QL-1060N, Brother QL-1100, Brother QL-1110NWB, Brother QL-500, Brother QL-700, Brother QL-710W, Brother QL-720NW, Brother QL-800, Brother QL-810W, Brother QL-820NWB, Brother QL-1050N, Brother QL-550, Brother QL-570, Brother QL-570VM, Brother QL-580N, Brother QL-650TD

Exceptions:

Label: 1240, 1241 and 2243 Compatible Printers: QL1050, QL1050N, QL1060N, QL1100, QL1110NWB

Zebra Compatible Labels

HouseLabels high quality, direct thermal labels are commonly used with, but not limited to, Datamax™, Intermec™, SATO™, Fargo™ and ZebraEltron™ thermal desktop printers. These labels are compatible with any direct thermal label printer with a transmissive label sensor. These direct thermal labels are for use in desktop printers that do NOT use a thermal ribbon.

All printers have a maximum label width and diameter. Please check the specifications of your printer before purchasing labels to ensure that they are compatible. The following is a list of all current Zebra printers with which HouseLabels products are compatible. There are MANY other Zebra printers; however, they may have been discontinued and, accordingly, are not included in this list.
